My name is Zoliswa ( Zoe)
Currently, I am a staff nurse based in different wards as a flexible worker which has given me vast experience from working with a wide range of specialties. In my role a lot of clinical experience and skills have been gained evolving a vast group of patients. Written and verbal communication skills have been gained and demonstrated in the form of writing clear and legible nursing notes and giving comprehensive handovers.
Previously to my nursing career l was a carer/ support worker with service users who had learning disability, mental health, autism, Parkinsons, MS conditions to name but a few. related to patients in my care. Good communication skills with patients using verbal and non-verbal cues and interaction with people from vast backgrounds are my strengths, which I acquired through my work experience in different environments. I have the ability of dealing with challenging situations by actively listening and empathising. emotional, social support and acting as an advocate for patients. I have strengths of being a good advocate and listening whilst advising people- acquired in my key worker role as a support worker.
I’m a chemotherapy trained nurse who has experience working in haematology/ oncology wards and day units. My role includes taking care of level 2 patients and helping patients through their journey.
I’m a fun loving person with a good sense of humour, my hobbies are running and listening to music. My aim is to help people live life positively.
